Goovide - The Grand Puppeteer

Technical Sound Designer & Audio Implementation

I was part of a diverse and talented team developing "Goovide", an innovative video game. I participated in every stage of the development cycle, from initial concept and design planning to production and finalization, contributing ideas and vision to create a cohesive and immersive experience.
As a Technical Sound Designer, I was responsible for all sound design and technical implementation within the game. Using Unreal Engine 5 and Wwise, I crafted soundscapes, recorded and edited audio, and ensured seamless integration with gameplay. My holistic approach ensured the audio not only complemented but enhanced the player experience by delivering an engaging and interactive auditory narrative.
This project allowed me to collaborate closely with designers, programmers, and artists, fostering cross-disciplinary communication essential to bringing the game’s vision to life and making Goovide a memorable experience.

PC/Mobile Game – Independent Project (Competition Entry)

Sound Designer & Audio Implementation

For this competition project, I was given a game without any audio assets and tasked with designing and implementing the entire soundscape from scratch. My goal was to create immersive and dynamic sound effects and ambient audio that would enhance the gameplay experience on both PC and mobile platforms.

I developed custom interactive sound effects and layered ambient sounds, carefully tailored to match the game's visuals and emotional tone. This involved balancing audio performance considerations across different devices while ensuring the sound design remained impactful and engaging. The result was a cohesive auditory experience that enriched player immersion and complemented the gameplay narrative.

Sound Design

Harry Potter

(Full audio creation, voice recording, and sound design)

In this project, I took full ownership of creating the complete soundscape for a Harry Potter scene from the ground up. I designed and produced original sound effects, including the unique sound of the Dementor, showcasing my skills in creature sound design.

I recorded and edited all voice acting and dialogues, including Spanish ADR, and performed detailed Foley work to add realistic sounds that enhance every action on screen. Additionally, I led and conducted voice recording sessions, coordinating with talent to capture the best performances.

This project highlights my abilities in sound creation, voice recording, audio editing, and immersive sound design. It demonstrates my technical expertise and creative approach to bringing scenes to life, skills essential for voice-led and interactive sound projects.

Jordan Brand

(Focused product sound design with cinematic tension)

In this personal sound redesign, I created a dynamic and atmospheric soundscape to highlight the presence and identity of the Jordan sneaker. The goal was to enhance the visual storytelling with precise sound cues that evoke mystery, power, and focus—all while keeping the product at the center.

I designed and implemented each sound element to build tension and anticipation, from subtle ambient layers to impactful accents synced with key visual moments. The minimal yet deliberate approach allowed me to give the shoe a voice of its own, without overwhelming the visual flow.

This project reflects my ability to shape mood, elevate branding through sound, and create immersive audio for short-form digital content.

The Elder Scrolls

(Creating immersive soundscapes and monster voices)

For this video, I focused on building a sound environment that pulls the listener into the game’s cinematic world. I worked on designing sounds that make you feel like you’re really inside the game’s library or archive — creating a strong sense of immersion.

Additionally, I created the voices for the monsters, experimenting with different techniques to make them sound unique and believable, adding life and personality to the creatures.

This project shows my ability to combine sound design with voice creation to enhance storytelling and bring virtual worlds to life — skills that are key for roles involving voice-led and audio-first experiences.

Earth in Everyday Sound

(Telling a story through sound)

In this project, I tried to create a story using sound to make the listener feel like they are inside the images, really experiencing each moment. I worked on building a sound environment that combines natural sounds and everyday life noises to make everything feel more real and connected.

I focused on using sounds like the rustling of leaves, gentle flowing water, and sounds from the city and countryside to support and enhance what’s happening visually. The idea was for the sound to help convey emotions and create a stronger connection with the visuals.

This project shows how I can mix creativity and technical skills to make sounds that don’t just accompany, but actually bring the story to life — which is really important for roles related to voice and sound experiences.

Armored

(Focused on gunshot and battle sounds)

For this cinematic, I carefully designed every sound effect to put the listener right in the middle of the action. From the loud boom of cannons to the sharp clashing of metal armor, I worked to make each sound realistic and powerful.

My goal was to create sounds that not only feel intense and exciting but also match perfectly with the visuals, so the whole scene feels alive and immersive. This project helped me improve my skills in creating impactful battle sounds, especially gunshots and armor noises, which are essential in many sound design roles.

Pink panther

(Precise sound design to enhance character and mood)

In this project, I crafted the sound design for a playful introduction featuring the iconic Pink Panther. Although minimalistic in nature, this work demanded precise timing and careful selection of each sound to perfectly highlight the character’s movements and personality.

I recorded real sounds and designed subtle effects, like the swish of the tail and the light pitter-patter of footsteps, making sure every audio element fit seamlessly with the animation. The challenge was to create a lively and engaging atmosphere using just the right sounds at the right moments to bring the character to life.

This project demonstrates my attention to detail, strong sense of timing, and ability to create impactful soundscapes with minimal elements.

Conclusion

Thank you for taking the time to explore my sound design portfolio. I’m passionate about crafting immersive and meaningful audio experiences and eager to bring my creativity and technical skills to your project. If you’re looking for a versatile and dedicated sound designer who can help make your vision come alive, I’d love to connect and collaborate.
